 Executive Summary

The usability test for the U-Blood application aimed to thoroughly assess the usability of the U-Blood app, identifying its strengths, weaknesses, and areas for enhancement throughout the entire user experience. The test also revealed that there are a lot of problems and bugs that need to be fixed; otherwise, this app can become dangerous for users.

 Goal Of The Study
The study aims to thoroughly assess the usability of the UBlood app, identifying its strengths, weaknesses, and areas for enhancement throughout the entire user experience.

 Test Objectives
Find any unclear sections, hidden features, or trouble spots in the app's flow, particularly when completing tasks involving blood donation or requests. Through seamless blood connections, we hope to improve adoption, simplify the user experience, and ultimately save more lives.

Methodology
The recruited participants for the U-Blood application. The test administrator (me) sent e-mails to attendees informing them of the test logistics and requesting their availability and participation. Participants responded with an appropriate date and time. Each individual session lasted approximately one hour. We are using moderate usability testing.
Participants
Seven participants from different age groups (18–45) were scheduled over the two testing dates. Seven participants were involved in testing on December 12th and six on December 14th. Of the seven participants, four were male and three were female.
Task
Task 01: Contributing money for the treatment of a person suffering from a brain tumor
Scenario: You find out that a person is suffering from a brain tumor but doesn’t have enough money, so people are contributing money for his treatment, and you also donate 100 rupees.
Task 02: Updating Documents on your profile
Scenario: You have recently had a medical checkup and have to update your new reports on your profile.
Task 03: Finding the nearest hospital
Scenario: You have currently shifted to Delhi from Jaipur. Your bike slipped, and now your left arm is hurting. Use the UBlood app to find the nearest hospital for an X-ray.
Task 04:  Finding the nearest blood donation center
Scenario: You have currently shifted to Delhi from Jaipur. You donate blood every 6 months and get a reminder that it's time to donate blood. Now use the UBlood application to find a nearby blood bank for donation.
Task 05: Donating blood to help others
Scenario: It's Saturday morning, and you are reading an article on your phone and suddenly get a notification about a critical blood shortage at the nearest hospital. Feeling the urge to help, she opens the phone and comes to donate blood
Task 06: Put a request for blood
Scenario: You were going to Shimla in your car. Your car crashes into a tree, and your brother gets badly injured. You take him to the hospital, but because rare blood types are not available in the hospital, you use the Ublood app to raise a request for blood donation.
Findings
Disclaimer
This usability test was conducted independently, and the findings and recommendations are based on the observations and feedback of the test participants. While efforts have been made to ensure the accuracy of the information, it should be noted that individual user experiences may differ. The test results do not represent the views of all U-Blood application users and should be considered as guidance for potential improvements rather than definitive solutions.

Conclusion
The U-Blood application performed badly in terms of usability. Addressing the identified areas for improvement would further enhance the overall user experience, ensuring an easy process to help those who need blood.
The usability test for the U-Blood application evaluated the user experience, navigation, and functionality. Areas for improvement are the user-friendly interface, transparency, and accuracy of data; the inability to export and import CSV; and the icons, which are not appropriate. Recommendations included better I.A., a user-friendly interface, a minimum of words, and the use of images and illustrations. Overall, addressing these areas would enhance the user experience of the U-Blood application.
